Sean opened Release Fitness in the spring of 2015. Over the last eighteen years Sean McDonald has been working in the fitness industry leading individuals down the path of health and wellness. He has trained thousands of clients ranging from high school/college athletes, pre and post rehab clientele, seniors and all ages in between. Holding certifications as a Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine a Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine, a Golf Fitness Specialist (NASM) Sean has also held certifications from the National Strength and Condition Association and certified as a Russian Kettlebell Instructor completing the RKC challenge in 2006.
Andy J. O'Neill
From Fitness Enthusiast to Fitness Professional, Andy lost over 100lbs as a Physical Therapy student in college and decided to pursue his passion in fitness. After achieving certifications from NASM, Training for Warriors, Dynamic Variable Resistance Training, and more, he went on to working with, educating, and motivating hundreds throughout Connecticut and Colorado. He has even been featured on the Skimble "S Workout" app featured on Android phones and iPhones. He has now returned to Connecticut after being mentored by some of the industries top fitness professionals and can be found right here at Release Fitness.
Tyler is a recent graduate from Westfield State University with a B.S. in Sports Medicine and a concentration in Strength and Conditioning. He has experience as a student athlete competing at the collegiate level for men's ice hockey. He also holds an A.S. in Exercise Science.
