At Release Fitness located in Enfield CT, injury prevention is just as important as our physical training programs. We cater our small group training sessions to fit your group’s fitness levels and will guide you through your fitness journey in a safe and healthy way.

That’s why our training professionals show you the correct way to perform exercises or correct you if needed, so you don’t get injured. Whether it be a sprain, strain, or broken bone, injuries are not fun. Release Fitness’ trainers possess the knowledge and preparation to help you prevent injuries during your training session, but it’s important you know how to prevent injuries from happening when you’re working out alone, as well.

There are many ways to help prevent injuries from occurring. General physical preparedness (GPP) lays a baseline of fitness, so that later you can respond to physical challenges without harm. GPP includes improving speed, endurance, flexibility, skill, and many other conditioning skills to help you prepare for more intense training.
